At Restoration Fellowship Church our primary goal is to make followers of Jesus Christ, our King. We accomplish this goal through several strategies which we have entitled: Seeking, Shaping, Serving, and Sending. This model is progressive in that a member completes each step in order.
The “Seeking” component includes our commitment to seek God through worship, and seek the lost through evangelism.
We “Shape” our congregants by exposing them to the information and inspiration necessary to become followers of Jesus Christ. Our primary modes of conveying this essential information are through the teaching of God’s Word, and our Grow Group Discipleship program.
The “Serving” component encourages participation in ministry.
Lastly, in the “Sending” portion of the growth track, the believer implements core practices which yield a breath taking life style.
The Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. denomination started out as a vision of Bishop Charles Price Jones in 1905. Bishop Jones believed the life described in the Bible should be the life lived. Since 1905 many churches (COCHUSA) have spread throughout this country and abroad.
The Southwestern Diocese is comprised of churches located in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. The “Great” Southwestern Diocese is divided into 5 districts. The term “great” has been used to describe this region because we strive to do the will of God in a way that will be pleasing in His sight. We are unbending and unmovable in spreading the Word of God throughout the communities which we serve.
